Recent Domain Name Sales
The Intuitive domain name market continues to grow and multi million dollar sales are now becoming frequently more common.
Here is some highlights of recent sales:
Diamond.com being the 2006 sale of the year at $7,500,000 (sold in May 2006).
CreditCards.com, the domain name, has been purchased for $2.75 million by ClickSuccess, L.P., an Austin, Texas-based firm specializing in marketing financial products online.
Casino.com was part of a $5.5 million dollar deal last October that included other assets (though that name alone would undoubtedly be in the same league).
Wrestling.com is the undisputed king of the ring this week, after throwing all of the competition over the top rope with a blockbuster $500,000 sale. Company President David Jeffs said the firm might also put Boxing.com on the block and he expects that domain would command an even higher price.
Tessoro Media Limited reluctantly let go of one of their most prized possessions this week. It took $450,000 to persuade the company to part with a real gem, Templates.com.
